Excellent hotel in a very convenient location (10 min max by foot from all attractions), easily accessible by car (near highway) and 7 minutes by foot from train station which made it a perfect solution for us since we visited many places in Tuscany either by car or train. The room was very well equipped and comfy, breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly. They helped us with many things (eg. advices regarding trains) and solved all our issues. The hotel also offers a dinner in their restaurant and there's a pool at the roof but we haven't tried it. They offer either private car parking for 8€ per night or a voucher to park anywhere in the city on public parking for 5€ per night. We chose the private one and it is in a closed yard (doors are being opened via pin) 50 meters from the hotel, with lots od trees so it's not in the sun. Also a space right in front of the entrance, where you can temporary leave your car to do check-in/check-out and carry your bags, is very convenient. If we decide to return to Montecatini (which is BTW the best place to stay if visiting Tuscany), we will be definitely staying at Boston again.

First of all, I highly recommend staying in the main building of the newly renovated hotel. Unfortunately, the old building is quite uncomfortable. I made the mistake of staying one night in the old building, where the air conditioning didn’t work. During my October stay, I found the room very cold. Even though they brought a blanket, it wasn’t enough to keep me warm. The next day, I arranged to stay in the main building. The rooms here are very well-designed, and the air conditioning worked, providing a comfortable warmth. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options and more than enough of everything. We had a minor misunderstanding regarding the payment, but we resolved it later via email. I appreciate the hotel’s understanding and assistance in this matter. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, about 500 meters away, so the distance is not too far at all. In my opinion, instead of staying in Florence, you could stay in Montecatini, which is definitely more affordable, and easily reach everywhere by train.

We chose this location because it was in the triangle Bologna, Firenze, Pisa and we planned to visit those cities. Due to the very hot weather we did not make so many visits but enjoyed our stay in Montecatini. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful even when large groups arrive they have no problem making you feel welcome. The location is good, a little out of city center (so no problem with the LEZ zone to enter) but only a short walk to the central square. There are plenty of good restaurants and other businesses near the hotel. The pool is on the roof of another building but it is easily accessed with a code that is given when you check in. We never had a problem getting some chairs around the pool and at least when we were at the pool it was not too crowded. There are some nice views from that rooftop. The fridge in the room has some complementary water which is nice. Breakfast is good with diverse freshly made pastries and omelettes and bacon always available.

The hotel was well situated. The staff were friendly. (Alessandro was especially helpful and reassuring when I returned to the hotel after having been pickpocketed in Florence) The room was clean and modern. And shower was lovely! The breakfast had a great selection of meats, pastries, rolls, fruit, and cereals. Plenty of choices!! A happy (4!) hour at the bar was nice. (25% off!) And liked we could sit outside on a terrace. It was also quiet in my room so easy to sleep. I was on the 3rd floor so window/ light was more via a roof window. Would have liked a bigger balcony perhaps. But that said, it wasn't essential. And with the humidity it was probably good to have the window closed! Air conditioning was good and effective. Liked there was a small fridge in the room...and also a small personal safe. All very useful. Room was also a good size so not shuffling around the bed! Very happy with hotel overall.

Check-in was excellent, Alex was very helpful, friendly and professional. Having travelled on motorbikes in the hot sunshine we welcomed the roof-top pool and were soon in for a cool-down and relaxation. The breakfast is excellent, lots of choice and good quality food. We picked this hotel as it was only a 40 minute ride to Florence. There are lots of bars and trattorie in Montecatini to enjoy walking around the town. We enjoyed two nights of good relaxation at the hotel before resuming our travels. If we come this way again we will certainly stay and recommend this hotel to others.
